Quarterly Outcome Report: 2017, 4th Quarter

In the fall of 2015 we provided the county a year’s assessment of our care to children in the foster-care system. From July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015 we treated 394 children. This report compared their rates of outcomes within this time frame to the 12 months of foster-care exposure before starting treatment with Healthy Minds. Contrasted to the 9-Month Pilot Report, children in this report had considerably less exposure to previous mental health services, therefore analyses of psychotropic medications only included those that had medications prescribed to them prior to starting Healthy Minds’ care. With so many children added to our care, most of them did not experience a disruption or hospitalization both before or during our care. This can overshadow the reduced outcomes that the rest of the children get from our care.
